RE: Everything went fine

Thank you for the encouragement ... we have enjoyed all of our trips, even the ones where we have had some trouble. But, the only place where things have been stolen was at home and from our house - one time at the cemetary.
Life is good and I intend to enjoy it.

Wells Fargo has refunded all money to my account. Everything from my side has turned out well.

RE: Boondocking - La Jolla, California style

I, too, was treated great by the VA Hospital in Southern Cal. We were only there one night to visit a friend, but it made the trip from Vegas one to be remembered and enjoyed.

RE: Would you buy a hitch on Ebay?

As with anything that you would buy by mail or online, I would be careful and I would do my research.

RE: Air Card? for internet access

I love my aircard. I use it anywhere I get cell service and would rather us it than wifi. I understand its limitations, but I have not been disappointed. We stay in contact with our kids and do our business.

Debit Card Fraud

We came home Wednesday night to find two phones on our front porch. Someone had enrolled us in new cell phone accounts without our permission. Somehow, they got my wife's card # and signed her up for two accounts. We have canceled the card and notified the bank and Vonage about this fraud. Funny thing, on the day of the transaction, we were returning from our vacation and did not get home until late that evening. But, this is taking a long time and a lot of phone calls to straighten out. If we had not gotten the phones, we could have missed these charges until we balanced our checking account.

RE: Sierra Wireless Aircard

I got mine about a year ago at AT&T. I have used it at home, office and on the road. It is really great.

Camping between Seattle and Arlington

Any body camped in this area. I would not even mind boone docking. Our MH is 30 feet.

Fuses

I have a 2004 Allegro Open Road. The Rear Observation System Camera does not seem to work. Is there a separate fuse located for this camera?

RE: Anyone stayed near Seattle WA?

There are many CGs in the state and national parks around Seattle. Some even have full hockup.

I have stayed at Zion River twice with no problems. My expectations may be really low, but I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I don't need their wifi because I have an aircard.

RE: Hard to get on RV.Net during the day

If I understand this all, it all depends on traffic. The more folks using the system, the slower it operates and the more you can get kicked off. You either get to live with it or pick a better time. By the way, remember, it is free.

RE: AT&T Aircard

djbogue - I have a Sierra Wireless AirCard 875U. In our travels and at home, the CTR 500 has done very well. The only time we have had a difficulty is when we tried to use a password on the system. We may figure that out later, but I have been pleasantly surprised with this unit.

RE: AT&T Aircard

emmmw - I am sorry that you have had such a difficult time with your AT&T card. I travel on the West coast. Denver is about as far East as I get. In the area that I travel, AT&T has given me the best service. I know people that have all of the different services. Sometimes, their coverage is better than mine, but not most of the time.

RE: 2003 Tahoe 4X4 Gas Fumes

This happened yesterday with 1/2 tank. Of course, it is really hot in Vegas and we had been out.
Most vehicles have a carbon cannister that absorbs the fuel vapors from the tank. Usually happens If the tank is filled right up and you park it in hot weather the cannister will get some fuel in it. The engine sucks the fumes out the cannister when the engine is running and the fuel smell will go away. When it clicks off when filling it don't try to fill it right up to the top the fill tube.

2003 Tahoe 4X4 Gas Fumes

I am getting the strong smell of gas fumes from my 2003 Chevolet Tahoe 4X4. I don't see any place that it is leaking gas and the smell is not continual. Any help would be appreciated.

Rear Observation System

The ADTH Rear Observation System on my 2004 Allegro Open Road does not work all the time. When it first starts up, there are vertical lines on the monitor. After a period of time, everything seems to become normal with the toad coming into view on the monitor. Any ideas?
